Product Introduction:
HDFR-02 is a high-end halogen-free flame retardant specifically developed for PE/PP materials. It appears as a white powder and offers excellent thermal stability, high flame-retardant efficiency, and low addition levels. The product demonstrates good compatibility and dispersion with base materials. Its flame-retarding mechanism operates through both the condensed phase and gas phase, achieving flame retardancy by cross-linking and expanding upon exposure to fire. This reaction forms a stable foamed carbon layer and an oil film on the material surface, serving as a protective barrier. The foamed carbon layer is uniform and dense, providing effective thermal and oxygen insulation without dripping. The flame retardancy rating can reach UL94, V0 (1.6mm), with an oxygen index (OI) of 31. Notably, this product performs exceptionally well with flame-retardant and antistatic materials, enhancing superior antistatic performance with resistivity reaching up to 10³Ω, making it suitable for semiconductor applications.

For HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, and both copolymer and homopolymer PP materials, it is recommended to add 20-22% of HDFR-02 to achieve a vertical burning test rating of UL94, V0 (1.6mm) with no dripping and an oxygen index (OI) of 31.
